Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to purchases of electronic products from Media Entertainment Limited through mxmediaent.com. They explain when an order becomes legally binding, how payments and delivery are handled, and the rights and obligations that apply to each transaction. Please review them before placing an order.

1  About us and these Terms

Media Entertainment Limited operates mxmediaent.com. and is the seller named on each order confirmation. Our statutory company details are shown in the website footer. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Media Entertainment Limited, while “you” and “your” refer to the customer.

These Terms apply to consumer orders delivered within the United States and Canada, excluding Quebec. They operate together with the Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, Product Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Optional Services and Renewals Terms, and Legal and Product Use Notice. If a product page or written quotation includes a specific term relating to that product, the product-specific term will apply where there is a direct conflict.

Nothing in these Terms removes, limits or replaces any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable federal, state, provincial or territorial law.

2  Eligibility and permitted purchasing

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a contract. Checkout information must be complete, accurate and current, and purchases may only be made for lawful purposes.

We may reasonably reject or cancel an order where information cannot be verified, payment is not authorised, a product cannot legally be supplied to the destination, fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected, or stock is unavailable.

3  Products and website information

We sell products including drones, CCTV and security equipment, DVRs, projectors, headphones and audio equipment, Android devices, cables, chargers, batteries and related accessories. Product images are provided for illustration. Minor differences may result from display settings, packaging revisions or normal manufacturing tolerances, provided those differences do not materially alter the product.

Customers should review important specifications, compatibility requirements, included accessories, safety information and any product-specific warranty period before purchase. You are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable for your equipment, network, electrical supply, mobile carrier, software and intended purpose. If compatibility is uncertain, please contact us before placing the order.

We may correct an obvious error relating to a description, price, tax, shipping charge or availability before dispatch. If such an error affects an order for which payment has already been accepted, we will contact you and offer either the corrected order or a full refund.

4  Prices, currency, taxes and charges

Unless checkout clearly states otherwise, all prices and payments are in United States dollars. Before an order is submitted, checkout will display the product price together with shipping charges, applicable sales taxes, customs duties and any other mandatory amounts collected by us. The final total displayed at checkout is the amount payable to us.

A Canadian customer’s bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion rate or foreign-transaction fee. Those charges are imposed independently and are not controlled or received by us.

5  Payment through Alipay

Alipay is currently the only accepted payment method. Payments are subject to Alipay’s own terms, verification procedures and authorisation requirements. We do not directly retain complete payment credentials. By submitting an order, you authorise us and Alipay to process the total amount displayed at checkout.

An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order request but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. Unless applicable law states otherwise, a binding sales contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation. If an order is not accepted, we may release the payment authorisation or issue a refund as appropriate.

6  Order cancellation before dispatch

You may request cancellation before dispatch by promptly emailing order@mxmediaent.com. and providing your order number. We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once picking, packing or shipping has started.

If the order has already been dispatched, the Returns and Refund Policy will apply.

7  Processing, delivery and risk

Normal order processing takes approximately 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery is within 10 business days after dispatch. These timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed delivery date. Tracking details will be provided where available.

Orders for the United States are normally shipped from a US fulfilment location, while Canadian orders are normally dispatched from a Canadian fulfilment location. Delivery is available throughout the United States and throughout Canada except Quebec, subject to courier availability and any dangerous-goods, battery, remote-area, territorial or address restrictions.

Responsibility for accidental loss or damage passes in accordance with the law applicable to the delivery. Where legally permitted, risk passes when the order is delivered to the address or authorised recipient provided during checkout. Ownership of the product passes once full payment and delivery have been completed.

8  Inspection and delivery problems

Inspect your parcel as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. Please report visible damage, missing items, an incorrect product, or a parcel marked as delivered but not received within 48 hours of delivery or the carrier notification.

Email order@mxmediaent.com. and provide your order number together with photographs and packaging information where reasonably available. Prompt reporting helps us investigate the matter with the warehouse and carrier but does not remove any legal right that cannot be waived.

9  Returns, refunds and warranty

Requests for voluntary change-of-mind returns must be emailed within 21 days after confirmed delivery and must be approved before the item is shipped back. Eligibility requirements, exclusions, return costs and refund procedures are explained in the Returns and Refund Policy.

Products normally include our one-year limited warranty unless a different warranty period is shown on the relevant product page. An optional extended warranty may also be offered with separate terms, coverage and pricing. The Product Warranty Policy explains the applicable claim process and remedies.

Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. Before providing a remedy, we may request reasonable evidence relating to purchase, identity, product condition, an alleged defect, a delivery issue or payment ownership.

10  Optional setup and support services

Device setup, monitoring, cloud services and technical support are not included with a product purchase unless expressly stated. These services are discussed and quoted separately after the product has been purchased.

No optional service will begin until its scope, price, duration and payment arrangements have been agreed. Services do not renew automatically and there are no automatic recurring charges. Fresh customer approval is obtained before each renewal period. The Optional Services and Renewals Terms apply.

11  Lawful and safe product use

Products must be operated safely, lawfully and in accordance with the relevant instructions. Drones, cameras, recording equipment, radio-enabled products and batteries may be subject to registration, licensing, flight, privacy, surveillance, consent, radio-frequency, import, transportation, workplace and local safety requirements.

Further information is provided in the Legal and Product Use Notice. We do not provide legal or regulatory approval for a customer’s intended use of a product.

12  Intellectual property and website use

The website design, written content, graphics, product presentation, software and Media Entertainment branding are owned by us or used under appropriate licence.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal purchasing purposes. You must not unlawfully copy, scrape, republish, reverse engineer, interfere with, attack, test without permission, or commercially exploit the website or its content in violation of applicable law or intellectual-property rights.

13  Our responsibility

We are responsible for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms or our failure to exercise the standard of care required by law.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by customer misuse, unlawful operation, incompatible equipment, unauthorised modification, failure to follow instructions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law makes us responsible.

Products are supplied for personal consumer use unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited.

Any limitation of responsibility remains subject to applicable product-liability, consumer-protection and warranty law.

14  Events outside reasonable control

We are not responsible for a delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, carrier interruptions, customs actions, labour disruption, cybersecurity incidents, epidemics, government restrictions or infrastructure failures.

We will take reasonable measures to minimise the effects of such events and will provide any cancellation, refund or other remedy required by applicable law.

15  Applicable law and disputes

Mandatory consumer-protection laws of the delivery location apply to the extent required.

Orders delivered in the United States are subject to applicable US federal law together with the law of the relevant state or territory. Canadian orders are subject to applicable Canadian federal law and the law of the relevant province or territory. Quebec is excluded because we do not deliver there.

Please contact order@mxmediaent.com. first so that we have an opportunity to resolve any complaint.

These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration, waive participation in a class proceeding, or require a consumer to bring a claim in a forum where doing so would be unlawful. A court or other dispute-resolution body with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear the matter.

16  General terms

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A delay by us in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived. You may not transfer an order or claim without our consent where such consent may legally be required.

We may transfer our rights in connection with a genuine corporate restructuring, reorganisation or business transfer, provided that doing so does not reduce any mandatory rights available to you.

We may revise these Terms for future transactions. The version accepted when an order was placed will normally continue to govern that order. Section headings are included for convenience only and do not alter the interpretation of these Terms.

17  Contact

For questions about an order, cancellation requests, complaints or legal notices relating to a consumer purchase, email order@mxmediaent.com. Please include your order number and enough relevant information for us to investigate the matter.
